Main : Pork Chop with Apples and Prunes
Thursday, January 8th, 20092 6-ounce pork chops
A pinch of salt
A pinch of pepper
1 apple, cored, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup of prunes, halved
1/4 cup of apple juice
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Salt and pepper the pork chops, place in a cast iron skillet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until slightly pink in the middle. Take the chops out and set aside.
Heat the skillet over a medium heat and add the remaining ingredients. Simmer until the apple and prunes are soft.
Put the pork chops on a plate, top with apple and prune mixture and serve.
This recipe makes 2 servings.
